Our Approach
Starting ABA can feel overwhelming. Our job is to guide you through each step, from your first conversation with us to ongoing sessions in your home, school, or community. Here's what the process looks like and how we support your family along the way.
Step 1: Comprehensive Assessment
The journey begins with a thorough assessment by one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). We evaluate your child's current skills, identify areas for growth, and understand your family's goals.
- Initial parent interview and developmental history
- Standardized skill assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R)
- Direct observation in natural settings
- Collaborative goal-setting with your family
Step 2: Personalized Treatment Plan
Based on the assessment, your BCBA develops a treatment plan designed specifically for your child. This plan outlines clear, measurable goals and the strategies we'll use to reach them.
- Individualized behavior intervention plan (BIP)
- Skill acquisition programs targeting key areas
- Data-driven progress metrics
- Regular plan reviews and adjustments
Step 3: Ongoing Therapy & Support
Vivo ABA provides consistent, high-quality therapy sessions with ongoing BCBA supervision. We keep families informed with regular updates and parent training sessions.
- One-on-one therapy sessions with trained RBTs
- BCBA supervision and program oversight
- Monthly progress reports for families
- Parent training and caregiver support
